Better Ways to Read the Bible Seminar
Zach will be speaking at Galveston Central Church for an evening exploring Better Ways to Read the Bible — a conversation about moving beyond harmful interpretations of Scripture toward Christlike, life-giving faith.
The event will include a live reading from the book, an interactive Q&A, and a book signing.

Post Evangelical Collective - National Gathering
Zach will be speaking at the Post-Evangelical Collective - 2026 National Gathering in Boston on April 28-30th, including a two breakout sessions about Better Ways to Read the Bible and partnerships with denominations.
UNITE Youth Camp
Zach will be preaching to more than 600 students at the annual UNITE Youth Camp at Central Methodist University.
Faith, Facts, and Trust
Zach is joining with other faith and science leaders for a two-day event meant to build trust and push back against misinformation at the intersection of faith, science, and politics.

Zach will be speaking alongside Brian Recker and Lizzie McManus-Dial at Jubilee Episcopal Church in North Austin. Each author will do a short reading from their book and then there will be an open Q&A. They event is free, but registration is required.

The Bible has too often been used as a weapon to subjugate women, justify racism, harm LGBTQ+ people, and cover up abuse. In Anti-Apologetics 101: Better Ways to Read the Bible, Zach W. Lambert invites us to read the Bible differently by dismantling four harmful interpretive lenses—Literalism, Apocalypse, Moralism, and Hierarchy—and replacing them with life-giving alternatives—Jesus, Context, Flourishing, and Fruitfulness—offering a more Christlike, justice-centered approach to Scripture that leads to healing and liberation instead of harm.
Topics We’ll Cover:
- What is the Bible, really?
- Identifying and dismantling harmful interpretations of the Bible
- Discovering and implementing healthy interpretations of the Bible
- Engaging with difficult biblical texts like the Canaanite Genocide or the admonition in 1 Timothy 2:12, “I do not permit a woman to teach.”
